Mother Nature really does have a weird sense of humor. I don't think any of us that live up here in the Northwood's are finding it very amusing! I wake up this morning to approximately 3 - 4 inches of new snow and more is on the way...all day long and into Saturday morning. There is a light at the tunnel and that is next week the tempatures are climbing. Mid 50's by Thursday and I hope it keeps going up.
So all of you out there that are waiting for the snow to melt so you can come up here and start to look at property...it won't be long now. (By the way, many homes have been reduced in price so now is the time to seriously think about purchasing if you've been holding out.) Have patience because the lakes, streams and forest well come alive and make this area one of the most desirable places to vacation with family and friends. Soon the lakes will be open and sparkling and they will be enjoyed once again.
Last night amongest the noise of the trees from the 35 mph winds and snow, I had an Owl just hooting away for the longest time. I don't know what or who he was trying to communicate with, but I have a pretty good idea what he might have been saying.
Here's a photo of what it looks like right now outside my office window. Beautiful, but I'm done already!

I really shouldn't complain because I realize everyday I get up and look out my window into the woods that surround my home and it reminds my of how lucky I truly I'm to be living up here in the beautiful Northwoods!
See you soon...
