Everyday I enjoy coming to work. I'm fortunate because I don't think a lot of people get to say that. I love being a Realtor and helping people find the Northwoods Dream home they've been waiting for come to a reality. I have had the honor of meeting some very nice folks, some that I have become very good friends with and who are very special to me.
I listen to what the media tell us about the real estate market and what the economists are telling us for 2008, and I have to say that I'm very positive about our market up here in the Northwoods. The Northwoods real estate market is very unique. Yes, we went through a market adjustment. Not necessarily a bad thing. It's a buyer market now, which gives more folks the opportunity to find that second home. We all deserve to find that special place where we can escape to and enjoy what mother nature has blessed us with. Forests and lakes! In Vilas and Oneida counties alone there are over 2300 lakes. A place where families get together and have fun participating in all the recreational activities that the four seasons brings us here in Wisconsin. Hanging out lakeside by the campfire telling stories and sharing in each others company is probably one of the most popular family activities enjoyed. Experiencing what is truly the most important thing is our lives. Our families and friends. People who come North work very hard, but they play hard too!
The rates are good, homes are priced to sell and buyers are on the move. I better get moving too and get back to work!
